'You Rock.'

Good afternoon Lovelies,  we have a fine day today, the sun is shining and the temperature is just perfect, not too hot  and not too cold.  Hope it is as nice where you are.  Today I have a card I made in 2018 for someone very special to us.   Hope you like it, it is a wee bit different to my usual creations lol.   I have used Imagination Craft's 'Sunburst' stencil from some time ago, some Rich Gold Starlight metallic paint and a Christmas panel stencil called Stars & Ribbons and a stencil brush.   The musical stamp set was given free with a craft magazine quite some time ago  (sorry cannot remember which one lol!).    O.K. let's down to business lol!  how I made this card.   Apologies for not showing the different stages as I did them but I was so engrossed, I forgot to take the photos as I worked lol!

Rub some black ink through the stars embossing stencil using a blending tool around the edges of a 7" x 7" white base card.   Remove stencil and wash before using it for the next stage.

Replace the stencil onto the black stars, then off-set the stencil slightly and using a stencil brush, stipple the rich gold Starlight paint through the stars.   Repeat this until all the stars are covered.  This gives a 3D, shadow effect to the gold stars.

Matt and layer a five and three quarter inch square of black card onto the white base card.   Next cut a slightly smaller square of white card and colour with the Fossilized Amber distress oxide.

Lay the sunburst stencil onto the coloured card and rub the fired brick  and dried marigold  distress iks through the design,  beginning with the red ink from the centre then the dried marigold, blending the colours together.   Remove the stencil and matt this onto the black matt.

Stamp the greetings, musical notes etc., onto the card using a black ink pad.

Take a spare piece of white card and stamp the guitar, record, microphone, pick and mobile phone onto it, using a black ink pad.   Stamp the guitar and music player twice.   Colour with fired brick D.I. and rich gold Starlight paint.    Cut the images out and  3D the guitar and music player onto the card, using silicone glue.

Stamp the keyboard onto white card, again using black ink.   Cut out and glue to the bottom right corner  up the right-hand edge of the coloured card.

Glue the record to the centre of the sunburst, the guitar and pick to the bottom left and the music player to the top right of the record.

Using spare white card, the stars stencil, stencil brush and the rich gold Starlight paint.  stipple the gold paint through 5 different sized stars.   When dry, cut them out and edge with a little black ink.   Fix these around the card using silicone glue  and the card is finished.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and I hope you have enjoyed your visit.   Please pop back again soon.   Have a good week and happy crafting.

                                                            Love and rainbows,

                                                             Hugs   Jennifer xx.
