'Fantasy Flower.'

Hello Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Hope this post finds you all well.   My card today was made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts, for their shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel earlier this year using their beautiful 'Modernista Collection,'   Mixed Media spray inks, Sparkle & Twinkle and Cadence coloured pearls.  apologies in advance for all the photos lol!.......well you all know me by now, I like to show all the different stages lol!

Take a six and a quarter inch square of white card.   Add some drops of the Fuchsia, Light green, Sunshine and Lemon yellow Mixed Media spray inks onto a  work top, ( I used my glass worktop),   Spray with a little water and lay the white card down on top of the inks.    Lift up and leave to dry, this can be dried using a heat gun but I prefer to leave it to dry naturally.

When dry, stamp the main flower image to the right-hand side, using a black ink pad.

From this image cut out the teardrop shapes from each petal.

Stamp the sentiment to the left-hand side, the block of small dots to the top and bottom, using a black ink pad.

Using the long border stamp from the Modernista Harmony stamp set,  cover up the left-hand dots and the fleur de lys  with masking tape.   Ink up the remaining dots with black ink.   Stamp two of these to the top left and bottom right corners, making a corner stamp,

Colour a small piece of white card with the Jade Sparkle & Twinkle, either by using a brayer or as I did, by spreading it onto the card, using a metal spatula.

When dry, glue this to the back of the main flower image, so the Sparkle & Twinkle shows through the teardrop shapes, then matt this card onto a slightly larger piece of black card and then onto the

                                                              7" square white base card.

Add some Cadence yellow pearl drops to 2 of the narrow petals.   Colour another piece of white card with the same coloured inks and when dry, stamp the flower image twice more and cut out.

Cut out the teardrop shapes once again and 3D onto the original stamped image.

Add more Cadence pearl drops, this time turquoise to the central petal and 2 at the base of the flower.   Add the lemon yellow pearls to the 2 narrow petals and the central lower petal.

Edge 3 petals with a white pen.   Using a black pen, add groups of 3 dots to the left-hand side and white dots to the right-hand side.   The photos below show the dimension of the design.

I do hope you like it,  quite a time consuming card to make but I was very pleased with the end result lol!  hope you think so too.   Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such lovely comments, I really do appreciate each and every one and each visit made to my blog.   Catch you all again soon.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.
