'Butterfly Dreams.'

Hello Lovelies,

It's me back again with a 'sneaky peek' at one of my cards, made for Imagination Craft's shows on the Create & Craft TV Channel on Tuesday 19th May 2020  (tomorrow...yay!!)  at  8:15am. and again at 3:00pm.
I have made this card using one of the gorgeous rice papers from the Serene Chic Collection, a stencil, acrylic paints and Sparkle & Twinkle.

Using one of the sheets of rice paper,  paint brush and some water,  wet around the butterfly, birdcage and roses, then gently pull away from the sheet.   This gives a lovely feathered edge to the paper.

Glue these to a piece of 7" x 7"  cream card, using Cadence decoupage glue, just to the right of centre.

Using the Taffy acrylic paint, colour  the card, blending onto the feathered edges of the rice paper.

Lay the basket weave from the stencil to the left of the birdcage and using a stencil brush, stipple the mild blue paint through the design.

Repeat this again on the right of the birdcage.   Clean off the stencil and lay it back in position, off-setting it slightly.   Spread the blue Sparkle and Twinkle over the design, using a metal spatula, which gives a shadow effect.     Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry.

Cut out the butterfly and roses from the rice paper and using the decoupage glue, fix them to a piece of cream card (these were cut from a second piece of the rice paper of the same design).    When dry, cut them out.

Glue these to the original images on the card.

Using the weathered wood distress ink and a blending tool, colour the edges of the card, then fix this
to the front of a 7" x 7" white base card.

Using the stencil and the word 'Dreams,' lay it onto a spare piece of  cream card and using some cut 'n' dry foam, colour the letters using a Vintage Sepia Versafine pad.     Remove the stencil and clean it.

Re-lay the word back in position, slightly off-setting the stencil and stipple some Cadence white gold metallic paint over the letters.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Trim around the word by hand then glue across the front of the birdcage set on an angle, using silicone glue to add some dimension to the card.

That's all for now Lovelies, I will be back again quite soon.   Take care of yourselves and stay safe and well.   Please don't forget to tune in to the Create & Craft T.V. Channel tomorrow 19th. May 2020
at  8:15am. and 3:00pm.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
