'Spells and Potions.'

Hi there Lovelies,

Here is a 'sneaky peek' at one of my cards made for Imagination Craft's show on Thursday 14th. May 2020  at 12pm. when the lovely Mandy Taylor will be launching the new Collection called - The Gothic Kingdom.   I know I say the same for each new collection - but this one is no exception !  they are all beautiful, no matter what the theme is !    I have as usual enjoyed working with these products.....fabulous rice papers, great stamps and dies and of course, some beautiful paints from Cadence, what more could a girl want lol!   perfect combination.

Matt a square of black card onto the 8" x 8" ivory base card, leaving a good half inch border of the ivory base card showing.   Take a smaller square of white card and using the decoupage glue, fix the rice paper to the card.   Matt this onto the black matt.

Cut out the word 'Gothic' from the rice paper and glue to a spare piece of white card.

When this is dry, cut out each letter by hand and put aside for the moment.

Stamp the word 'Book of Spells' & 'Potion' to the card front using a black ink pad.

Die-cut the ink stand and feather pen from white card painted with the brilliant gold Cadence Dora Metallic paint.

Using the stamp that matches the die-cut, stamp the design onto the front face of the die-cut, using a black ink pad.

Die-cut another ink stand and feather,  cut off the feather and colour with well watered down  sedona acrylic and Hibiscus paints.   Fix this feather on top of the gold feather.   Glue this to the base card using silicone glue.

Die-cut the group of bottles twice  from white card.

Using a black ink pad, using the matching stamp, lay the die-cut face down onto the stamp.

Paint the bottles with the green metallic paint, leaving the labels white.   3D the bottles using silicone glue and glue them to the bottom right corner.

Die-cut the book twice.and stamp with the matching stamp.

Separate the top pages from the second die-cut.  Colour the pages with some old paper distress ink and shape the pages with your fingers.   Glue the top pages onto the first die-cut.  Then, paint the edges of the pages with the brilliant gold metallic paint.   Leave the bookmark free and glue the book to the bottom left of the card.

Using a black ink pad, stamp a small bat in each corner of the ivory base card.

Stamp the word 'Gothic' on the centre top and 'Kingdom' on the centre bottom of the base card.

Colour some white card with the gold and hibiscus metallic paints  and when dry, stamp the large bottle using black ink.

Cut out the bottle and glue to her hand using silicone glue.

Stamp her hood onto some white card using black ink and paint with the  Cadence sedona acrylic paint and touches of the Hibiscus metallic paint.   Cut this out and glue to the original image on the base card, using silicone glue.   Paint her eyes with the watered down green paint.

Glue the letters of the word Gothic across the top of the card.    Well I think I have covered everything lol!   apologies for the long blog but I do like to show you as many stages as possible.   Thanks once again for stopping by my blog,  I do hope you have enjoyed your visit.   Please don't forget to tune into Create & Craft  T.V. on Thursday 14th. May 2020 at 12pm. to see the launch of this new collection from Imagination Crafts.      Catch you all again soon with another card made using this fab collection.       Stay safe and well my friends.

                                                            Love & Rainbows,
