Flight of the Dragonflies.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Apologies for not being around f or a few days but I have been extremely busy, plus I have been racing the clock to make samples for Imagination Craft's next show on the Hochanda T.V. Channel on the 16th August 2016.   I will let you know the times in a couple of days.   I only just made it to the post office in time for today's post !   Phew!  I can now relax a little until my next challenge  arrives in the post and I must tidy up my work space,  it looks like a bomb has hit it lol!!!     I do look forward to my happy post arriving, with new products, especially the new Art stamps lol!   stamping is my thing,  I'm definitely a stamper at heart, although I do enjoy working with stencils too.

My card tonight was made for Imagination Craft's show on the Hochanda T.V. Channel  in June 2016.  I have used the fabulously rich orange oxide and rich gold Starlight paints, along with the very pretty dragonflies Art Stamp.

Fold the ready creased cream card down the centre, making a 7"x7" base card on which to work.   Take a smaller piece of cream card and paint the edges with the gold and orange Starlight paints (no need to waste paint by colouring the whole piece of card, as only the edges will be visible - waste not, want not lol!! )     Matt this onto the base card.   Take the shiny black card and matt onto the base card.

Die-cut four corners, using the Tattered Lace die from cream card and glue one in each corner.

Take a piece of cream card and colour using the gold and orange Starlight paints.   When dry, stamp the dragonflies stamp onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.

Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of cream card, which has also had the edges painted with the orange and gold like the larger matt.   Glue this to the centre of the base card.

Punch out 8 dragonflies from cream card, coloured with the Starlights.   Glue them around the main image, punch 2 more and glue to the main image.

Punch out 24 tiny circles from the left-over coloured card after punching out the dragonflies.   Glue them in groups of 3 in between the dragonflies.

That's all from me tonight, thank you for stopping by my blog, I do appreciate it and I also appreciate your feedback in your comments.   I will be showing you some sneaky peaks of my samples for Imagination's next T.V. show on the 16th August,  this weekend, so I do hope you can pop back soon.   Have a fabulous weekend, take care of yourselves.

                                                                     Love and Rainbows,

                                                                   Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
